2021/2022 Awards & Honorable Mentions

Club members have the opportunity to submit images each month based on their specific skill level (i.e. Beginner, Advanced, or Salon) for a specified category (ex: All Things Considered).  An independent, professional photographer evaluates each image and provides feedback on the technical and creative aspects of the image.  They then determine whether an image should receive a Honorable Mention or top Award.  This is not a competition so there can be multiple Awards and Honorable Mentions. 

The evaluation categories change each year.  This year’s evaluation categories are based on feedback from a member survey conducted at the end of last season.  There are more pictorial-type (All Things Considered) evaluations as it is the most popular.  Last year’s Nature evaluation is now called Our Natural World and removes some of the stringent hand-of-man requirements. Clink on a link to the left to see the year-to-date Award Winning and Honorable Mention images.
